We offer counselling for adults and couples navigating stress, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Many of our clients come to therapy not because everything is falling apart, but because ongoing pressure, responsibility, or change has become difficult to carry alone.
Our work is grounded in trauma-informed, relational, and evidence-based approaches, and is tailored to your unique life context, emotional needs, and personal pace. We take time to understand what is happening beneath the surface and support you in developing greater clarity, stability, and emotional balance.
Sessions are available in person in New Westminster and online across British Columbia, offering flexible options to fit different schedules, life circumstances, and preferences.

Support when stress becomes too much to carry alone
Many people come to counselling feeling constantly tense, exhausted, or emotionally overwhelmed. You may notice ongoing anxiety, difficulty sleeping, irritability, trouble concentrating, or a sense that you are always “on” and never fully able to rest. Over time, chronic stress and burnout can begin to affect your health, relationships, and overall sense of well-being.

Sometimes life changes in ways that leave you feeling unsettled — even when everything looks stable from the outside. You may feel lost, disconnected from yourself, or unsure how to adjust to a new phase of life.
Life transitions can include career changes, becoming a parent, relationship changes, loss, health challenges, immigration, relocation, or reaching a stage where life no longer feels aligned with who you are. Even positive changes can bring emotional stress, uncertainty, or a sense of being out of sync.
Counselling can be helpful when:

Couples & Relationship Counselling
Support for connection, communication, and emotional closeness
Relationships can become strained during periods of stress, burnout, or life change. Couples may notice increasing distance, recurring conflict, difficulty communicating, or a sense that they are no longer truly connected.
Couples counselling can be helpful when:
conversations turn into arguments or emotional shutdowns
closeness and intimacy have faded
stress or life transitions are affecting the relationship
long-standing patterns feel hard to change
In our work with couples, we focus on understanding emotional and communication patterns, increasing awareness, and creating space for more open and meaningful dialogue. Therapy offers a supportive environment to slow down, reconnect, and explore new ways of relating that feel more supportive and sustainable for both partners.
For many clients, couples counselling becomes a natural next step after individual therapy.
